Mouse Scroller ("the App") is developed by island. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
Mouse Scroller does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information. The App runs entirely on your device.
The App requires macOS Accessibility permission solely to intercept and smooth mouse scroll wheel events. This permission is used exclusively for the following purpose:
No keystrokes, mouse clicks, screen content, or any other input is captured, recorded, or transmitted.
Your settings (scroll speed, smoothness, reverse scroll, launch at login) are stored locally on your device using macOS UserDefaults. These preferences never leave your device.
The App contains no analytics frameworks, crash reporters, ad networks, or any third-party SDKs that collect data.
Mouse Scroller does not make any network requests. The App functions entirely offline.
The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
